Armory Show: Photography

The Armory Show officially opens on March 3 and runs through March 6th. It has 5 sections: Modern @ Pier 92, with the rest at Pier 94: Contemporary, Armory Presents, 2016 Armory Focus: African Perspectives, and Not for Profits.

You can be absolutely sure that it will be impossible to see everything.

Fortunately, Artsy has broken down the fair for us so that we can get a good sense of the offerings before trekking all the way to the West Side Highway. It even breaks it down in subsections, like Photography.

Personally, I am loving the historic photographs, or contemporary photographs being produced with traditional techniques. Below are a few of the images I’m looking forward to seeing in person:

I realize that it was a little ambitious to try and post every day until the Armory Show, because it keeps me from writing longer, more thoughtful posts. So, experiment’s over. Going back to once a week 😉

[an earlier version said “once a month”]
